Rent Check watches the bank for you
Just add your leases. The rest is looked after.
Deposits, matched for you
Upload a screenshot of your bank app's transactions, and each payment is matched to the right lease. If a parent pays on a tenant's behalf, tell us once and it's recognized from then on.
Late rent, flagged early
Short payments, a habit of paying later and later, a deposit about to run out. You hear about it first, with drafts of polite reminders and formal letters ready.
Lease dates, never missed
Reminders 6, 3 and 2 months before a lease ends, a calendar of deposits to return, and renewal dates in one place.

About the closed beta
We're refining Rent Check over 4 weeks with a small group of invited owners in Korea.
- Free. Use it and tell us what's inconvenient.
- Works on phone or computer, nothing to install.
- No automatic bank connection yet. Upload screenshots of your bank app, or type payments in.
- Each owner's data is stored separately on servers in our office in Korea. Screenshots are deleted right after the numbers are read.
- Tenants don't need to install anything.

When is the app coming?
iPhone and Android apps come with the full launch. The beta runs on phone or computer with nothing to install. Add it to your home screen and it opens with one tap.
Do tenants have to do anything?
No. Tenants just pay into your account the way they do now.
Can I send the letters as they are?
They're drafts, not legal advice. Check the lease terms and amounts, and talk to a local lawyer if needed before sending.
What is proof of delivery?
Registered or tracked mail with a delivery receipt records when, and who received your letter. It stops "I never got it."
- Postal services call it different things: return receipt, signed for, proof of delivery. Ask for it when you send.
- It's especially useful for notices that only count once they arrive, like asking for the full balance or ending a lease.
What's the difference between a formal letter and proof of delivery?
Many notices count from the moment they reach the other person. With both, you can show "I sent it" and "they got it".
Can I send it by messenger or e-mail?
Messages and e-mails keep a record of what you sent and when, and many apps show when it was read. That record can help if there's a dispute later, and you only need a phone number or e-mail address.
Sending a message plus a registered letter is the most certain: the post office records what you sent, and the message records that it was opened. Sending straight from Doncheck is in the works.
Is my data safe?
Only people signed in with an invited e-mail can get in, and each owner's data is stored separately so no one else can see it. It's backed up every day.
